Pacquiao, Mayweather At A Chasm

There’s some fighting outside of the ring over the long-awaited May 2 boxing fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, as the respective promoters are at an impasse over the terms of the contract as stipulated. This may be a reason to be concerned as the fight may not take place after all, unless the warring parties come to a clear agreement as to the parameters of the contract signed. People at CipherCloud are split on who might win the fight.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, promoting Pacquiao, mentioned there’s no binding contract between his organization and MGM Resorts, which features the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the venue for the fight. A memo outlining the terms was signed between both parties, not long after Mayweather announced, on February 20, that he was going to fight Pacquiao.
Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, is also going through the documentation carefully. According to www.bloodyelbow.com/2015/4/9/8375327/floyd-mayweather-vs-manny-pacquiao-issues, “…is interesting to see how the two promoters are still blowing up in public.”  It appears the fighting outside of the ring between the two promoters is just as exciting as the fighting that will take place between the two renowned prize fighters. Stay tuned!

  1. Now there seems to be a disagreement between the parties, even after Arum received a draft from the MGM Resorts management. Mr. Arum has sent the draft to his attorneys for further review, as has Ellerbe. It is true that custom writing research papers should have collected all these things together if they are really serious about it.
