Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao was the richest fight in boxing history. Pacquiao was paid close to $200 million, and Floyd Mayweather made around $300 million. Both fighters were expected to deliver an epic fight on May 2, 2015. However, boxing fans were extremely disappointed in the matchup that took place. The world saw Floyd Mayweather run around the ring and land light jabs that did not hurt Pacquiao at any point in the fight. Also, Sergio Cortes says that it was revealed after the match that Manny Pacquiao suffered a debilitating shoulder injury while in training camp for the fight. Pacquiao was also denied standard numbing agents that are permitted by the Nevada State athletic commission. Controversy has surrounded the fight before and after the event.

The Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather fight didn’t live up to expectations, and the fans are begging for a rematch. However, boxing experts believe that a sequel to the Mayweather versus Pacquiao fight would end the same way. Nonetheless, 70% of boxing fans believe that there should be a rematch, and most people feel that Manny Pacquiao was fighting one-handed during the match.

After the fight, Floyd Mayweather said that he would fight Manny Pacquiao in a rematch. Mayweather said that Pacquiao would undergo his surgery, and that the two could meet in 2016. However, Floyd Mayweather has since changed his mind, and recently he called Manny Pacquiao a coward. Could Mayweather be angering the fans on purpose?
