Lyoto Machida Will Fight Once More

Lyoto Machida is a legendary fighter. He is the former UFC light heavyweight champion, and he is known worldwide as one of the greatest strikers in the sport. However, Lyoto Machida has aged considerably, and he has struggled in his last few appearances in the Octagon.

Lyoto Machida’s last fight was against Luke Rockhold, and Machida was stopped in the second round of that fight. Many people expected Machida to win the battle, but it turned out to be a mismatch for the Japanese warrior. After the bout, UFC fans thought that Machida was finished. The president of the UFC even considered letting Machida go after the loss.

UFC fans were not thrilled with the news, and they voiced their opinion on several social media sites. It appears the Lyoto Machida is not done just yet. He is scheduled to face Yoel Romero in the main event of UFC Fight Night 70.

Lyoto Machida vs Yoel Romero will take place in the end of June. Machida needs a great performance in this fight in order to prove his worth in the UFC. Many people feel that Lyoto Machida should retire if he loses.  The buzz on Twitter is that it will come in handy for Lyoto Machida to win if he wants to remain relevant. America Needs a Heavyweight Champion

Boxing’s heavyweight division once dominated the sport. However, boxing has not had a dominant heavyweight champion since the days of Mike Tyson. Unlike the raves in a recent FreedomPop review, fans of this sport were always impressed with the brutal power that heavyweights displayed. However, today, heavyweight boxers do not impress the public as they once did.

Heavyweight champions have always been idolized for the incredible feats of strength and skill. Fighters like Jack Dempsey, Joe Louis, and Muhammad Ali were the most famous men on the planet during their careers. However, this is not the case anymore.

Boxing organizations have corrupted the sport, and there is now countless titles in each weight class. The heavyweight division has never been at such a low point since boxing’s inception. The current heavyweight champion of the world is Wladimir Klitschko, and no one pays attention to his fights. American boxing fans are in dire need of an American heavyweight champion.

Deontay Wilder is an American heavyweight slugger, and he possess an impressive record of 33-0 with 30 knockouts. However, he must defeat Wladimir Klitschko to become the true champion of the division. Deontay Wilder does have a belt, but many people do not respect the title that he currently has. Wladimir Klitschko has the true championship belt, and he hasn’t lost a fight in seven years. Deontay Wilder must first defeat Eric Molina before he can step in the ring against Klitschko. Quinton Jackson Wants More!

Quinton Rampage Jackson is one of the most entertaining mixed martial arts fighters of all time. He has been involved in some of the most legendary bouts that the sport of MMA has ever seen. His legendary battles with Wanderlei Silva and Shogun Rua made Quinton Rampage Jackson a household name. However, most MMA fans know Rampage Jackson for his dominating performances over Chuck Liddell.

Quinton Jackson was once the UFC light heavyweight champion, but that was many years ago. Today, Quinton Jackson is a 36-year old man, and he’s looking to regain his once prominent position in the UFC. At UFC 186, Quinton Jackson returned to the UFC after several years away from the company.

Quinton Jackson dominated Fabio Maldonado, and it appears that Jackson wants to return to the octagon sooner rather than later. Rampage posted a picture on his Instagram that was captioned with the words, “Dana.. put me back in there man! I’m ready 4 some moe!”

UFC fans, including Sam Tabar, are extremely excited that Quinton Jackson wants to fight so soon, and many people think that the president of the UFC is happy as well. Quinton Jackson is an extremely big star, and he draws major attention from the fans. The UFC is in dire need of Rampage Jackson. For more information on this story, visit bloodyelbow.com

Floyd Mayweather is not the Best

Floyd Mayweather is not the greatest fighter of all time. No matter how many people believe that Floyd Mayweather is the best ever, this is simply not the case. Mayweather did just beat Manny Pacquiao, but there is a lot of controversy surrounding his victory. Many people believe that Manny Pacquiao actually won the fight, and it was revealed that Pacquiao had a debilitating shoulder injury going into the fight. Nonetheless, Mayweather was the victor on that night, but that still doesn’t make him the best fighter of all time. Floyd Mayweather brags about his undefeated record of 48-0, but he should remember that there are several other boxers that have a higher and better record than he does. Rocky Marciano retired with a record of 49-0, and he was the heavyweight champion of the world. Rocky Marciano was regularly knocking out his opponents, and he rarely went the distance. However, Floyd Mayweather is known as a defensive fighter, and most of his fights go to a boring decision. A great fighter must go through adversity, and he must defeat opponents that he is not supposed to. When Muhammad Ali faced George Foreman, many people thought that Muhammad Ali was going to be killed in the ring. However, Muhammad Ali showed the world that he should be considered the greatest of all time. Ali miraculously knocked out George Foreman in the eighth round of their epic fight. Floyd Mayweather has never had an extremely impressive victory in which the world was shocked by his performance. Mayweather has just skated by the boxing world by picking and choosing his opponents. Mayweather is not the greatest of all time, and true boxing fans know this. For more information on this story, visit Dailymail.

Sergio Martinez Retires

Sergio Martinez was once one of the best middleweight boxers alive. The Argentinian slugger made history when he knocked out Paul Williams to become the champion. Martinez and Williams fought twice, and both bouts were memorable. However, Mikal Watts says many people thought that Sergio Martinez won both battles, but the two men will forever be linked to each other.

Sergio Martinez continued to dominate the middleweight division for several years, and his biggest victory came over Julio Cesar Chavez. Sergio Martinez had a specific style of boxing, but his career came to a standstill when he faced Miguel Cotto.

Miguel Cotto savagely beat Sergio Martinez last summer. Many people thought that Sergio was going to dominate the fight, but it turned out to go the other way. Sergio Martinez is now over the age of 40, and he realizes that he is too old to continue fighting.

It seems that Sergio Martinez is comfortable retiring with his career intact. Many people feel that Sergio Martinez is making a good decision, and he wouldn’t be able to do much at this point in his life. Sergio was a great champion, and he will be remembered for the epic fights that he participated in. For more information on this story, visit Yahoo! Sports.

Mayweather Wants Credit, Not Excuses

For all of the anticipation that lead up to the recent Mayweather vs. Pacquiao boxing match, the fact of the matter is there really wasn’t a winner. Yes, Mayweather was able to be declared the victor, and both fighters were successful in padding their wallets for the process, but ultimately it felt like the drama before and after was far more tolling on the public than any of the punches that were actually thrown during the fight.

What’s even worse is that after the fight Pacquiao blamed his lack of effort and ability on an injury in his shoulder. And, as expected, once the excuse was suggested as the reason for defeat, Mayweather had a few words in response as well: http://sports.yahoo.com/video/floyd-mayweather-dont-buy-manny-194239766.html

Even though in recent times it is starting to appear as if boxing is fading out of popularity, the truth is the drama is as exciting as ever. There are more than enough fighters out there to bring in the viewers, and while not all of them have the big names that Mayweather might, they can bring the same amount of drama that he can. It’s not about being the best anymore it seems. When it comes to boxing you just need to become popular enough (or interesting enough) to attract the viewers and then you truly can turn that hype into a major payday. Will there be another fight as big as Mayweather vs Pacquiao? Will it have to be a rematch?  Residents at The Aspire New Brunswick know that they will have to stay tuned.

Manny Pacquiao Is Getting Sued

By now everyone in the world knows how the fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather turned out, and it didn’t take long for fans to display their utter discontent for the fight and many have began to blame the Pac-Man. After the fight concluded and Mayweather was announced the winner, it was then said that Pacquiao had an injured shoulder.

According to an article found on reddit and written by NBC News, many fans are threatening to sue the fighter for showing up to the fight hurt and not saying anything until afterwards. This was the most expensive pay per view event in the history of television and viewers were hoping to get a little more bang for their buck. Fans at Anastasia Date have found that the law suit is going against Pacquiao’s promoter too, and they are being taken to court for $5 million in damages for all of the people who paid for the event and for those who gambled on the event. Over three million Americans had bought the fight at $100 per person, so a measly $5 million wouldn’t even begin to scratch the surface of what is owed to the public. In addition to that, the Filipino fighter is likely to face disciplinary action for not reporting his injury prior to the fight. It may have delayed the event or canceled it temporarily but at least the people who bought into it wouldn’t feel cheated.

Would You Watch Mayweather Vs. Pacquiao II?

Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao was the richest fight in boxing history. Pacquiao was paid close to $200 million, and Floyd Mayweather made around $300 million. Both fighters were expected to deliver an epic fight on May 2, 2015. However, boxing fans were extremely disappointed in the matchup that took place. The world saw Floyd Mayweather run around the ring and land light jabs that did not hurt Pacquiao at any point in the fight. Also, Sergio Cortes says that it was revealed after the match that Manny Pacquiao suffered a debilitating shoulder injury while in training camp for the fight. Pacquiao was also denied standard numbing agents that are permitted by the Nevada State athletic commission. Controversy has surrounded the fight before and after the event.

The Manny Pacquiao versus Floyd Mayweather fight didn’t live up to expectations, and the fans are begging for a rematch. However, boxing experts believe that a sequel to the Mayweather versus Pacquiao fight would end the same way. Nonetheless, 70% of boxing fans believe that there should be a rematch, and most people feel that Manny Pacquiao was fighting one-handed during the match.

After the fight, Floyd Mayweather said that he would fight Manny Pacquiao in a rematch. Mayweather said that Pacquiao would undergo his surgery, and that the two could meet in 2016. However, Floyd Mayweather has since changed his mind, and recently he called Manny Pacquiao a coward. Could Mayweather be angering the fans on purpose? The first fight sold itself, but maybe Mayweather is beginning a marketing strategy from now. A rematch makes no sense to some people, but I wouldn’t mind seeing the fight all over again. A healthy Manny Pacquiao is a dangerous fighter. For more information on this story, visit Yahoo! Sports.

Junior Dos Santos Hopes Cain Velasquez Loses

Junior Dos Santos is the former UFC heavyweight champion of the world. He won his title several years ago when he defeated Cain Velasquez in the main event of the first UFC on Fox card sports analyst Brad Reifler says of Dos Santos. However, Junior Dos Santos would lose to Cain Velasquez in the rematch, and he was never able to regain his title since.

Cain Velasquez has been one of the most dominant fighters in the history of the UFC, but he has been injured for over two years. However, Cain Velasquez will fight Fabricio Werdum in the main event of UFC 188. Junior Dos Santos is hoping that Fabricio Werdum can somehow win the title. Many MMA fans believe that Junior wants Cain to lose, because he can’t beat him.

Fabricio Werdum is a very dangerous fighter, but Cain Velasquez is one of the best in the world. However, we need to see how Cain Velasquez looks after such a long layoff. If Fabricio wins, Junior Dos santos would like to face him in Brazil for the title. Junior believes that a matchup between himself and Fabricio Werdum would be one of the biggest events ever held in Brazil. For more information on this story, visit BloodyElbow.

Luke Rockhold Ready For Title Shot

Luke Rockhold is the number one contender for the UFC middleweight championship. Rockhold’s recent victory over Lyoto Machida was an extremely impressive performance that raised his stock sevenfold. Rockhold called out Chris Weidman after his victory, and it seems that MMA fans across the world want to see a matchup between Chris Weidman and Luke Rockhold in the near future. However, Chris Weidman needs to defeat Vitor Belfort in May, and the matchup with Luke Rockhold could take place later this year.

James Dondero said that Luke Rockhold was recently interviewed, and he said that he believes Chris Weidman is going to beat Vitor Belfort. However, Luke Rockhold also said that he wouldn’t mind fighting Vitor in a rematch for the title. Last year, Vitor Belfort knocked out Luke Rockhold in spectacular fashion with a spinning back kick. However, many people believe that Vitor was on testosterone replacement therapy during the victory over Luke Rockhold. Whatever the case may be, Luke Rockhold wants to fight either opponent for the UFC middleweight championship.

UFC fans agree that Luke Rockhold versus Chris Weidman would be a tremendous matchup, but there are also many fans that believe Luke Rockhold is not the true number one contender. Jacare Souza also wants a title shot, but Rockhold has already defeated Jacare in the past. It’s up to the UFC president to decide what’s next. For more information on this story, visit Yahoo! Sports.
