Kevin Seawright, who works with Tito General Contractors, feels like this is a great step.

There s a new film that documents the swim team. You can view this short video for more information, It shows what the Jersey Hammerheads swim team is training for and how they are training. It also includes special interviews of coaches, partners and some of the team members thoughts about the swim team and how it is affecting their lives in a positive way.

Andrea Karl Declared Real Winner Of The 2015 GO! St. Louis Marathon

As she crossed the finish line of the 2015 GO! St. Louis Marathon, most spectators who have guessed that Kendall Schler was the victor. After she crossed the finish line, she stood next to former Olympian, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, with a beaming smile for the camera, in anticipation of claiming the first prize of $1500.00. Her impressive victory, compared to last year’s third place finish, would propel her to qualify to run in the following week’s Boston Marathon.

It would be three days later, on Wednesday, when race officials would confirm their suspicions and stated that Schler did indeed not run the 2015 nor 2014 GO! St. Louis Marathon. Officials believe that Schler sneaked onto the course near the finish line to complete the race, though her time was never registered during the race. A review of photographs of the 2014 race produced the same result. Ricardo Tosto was pretty shocked to see that.

She emerged onto the the course, past the final checkpoint, to avoid detection by race officials, similar in nature to famed runner Rosie Ruiz, who enjoyed the luxury of a subway car, to usher her to victory in the 1979 New York City Marathon.

The true winner of the marathon is Andrea Karl, a Washington University doctoral candidate, with a time of 2 hours, 54 minutes and 28 seconds. She crossed the finish line without any fanfare and was informed that another runner had captured first place.

Floyd Mayweather Interviewed By Katie Couric

Floyd “Money” Mayweather has been the highest paid athlete of the last few years. He will face Manny Pacquiao on May 2nd, and his payday for that fight will break all boxing records. However, Floyd will only be breaking previous records set by himself during the course of his illustrious career.

Floyd Mayweather is the highest paid athlete for one reason, because he is undefeated. Mayweather has faced 47 opponents, and he has beaten them all pretty convincingly. Although, there were a few fights that he won by questionable decision, but nonetheless, Floyd Mayweather is still undefeated. However, Floyd Mayweather will fight Manny Pacquiao, and many fans like Dan Newlin think that Pacquiao has a legitimate chance to beat Floyd.

Mayweather was recently interviewed by Katie Couric on Yahoo Sports. Floyd appeared to be his normal self in the interview. The superstar was brash and arrogant when talking about Manny Pacquiao. However, when the two met face to face in the pre-fight press conference, Floyd Mayweather seemed nervous and apprehensive.

In the interview with Katie Couric, Mayweather called Pacquiao reckless and wild. However, Mayweather did admit that Manny Pacquiao does possess tremendous speed, and he also said that Manny Pacquiao will bring the best out of him. The world is waiting, and hopefully we will see a great fight on May 2nd. To see the Mayweather and Katie Couric interview, visit Yahoo! Sports.

Rod Thorn Decides to Retire

If you’ve never heard the name Rod Thorn before, you may be surprised to know that he is one of the men who changed the NBA forever. He did not do it on the court, but from an office. Specifically, Thorn was the man who decided that the Chicago Bulls should take a player out of North Carolina in the NBA draft, all the way back in 1984. Folks at STX Entertainment know that that player was Michael Jordan.

News coming out lately is that Thorn, who is 73 years old, is finally going to retire. He has not been the general manager in Chicago for years, but has been working for the NBA directly. He’s decided that it’s time to walk away from the game.

Jordan is now commonly thought of as the best player in NBA history, and some people would contend that he is one of the best overall athletes of all time.

Since people put Jordan up on a pedestal like this in the modern day, it’s often forgotten that he was not the first overall pick. Chicago was actually picking third in that draft. It took some foresight and a seriously developed understanding of the game for Thorn to decide to make that pick.

Frank Mir Will Fight Again

Former UFC heavyweight champion Frank Mir will headline a main event against rising contender Todd Duffee stated Ivan Ong. This is great news for Mir and his fans. Just last month, it was thought that Frank Mir was going to walk away from the octagon with another loss on his resume. However, he surprised the mixed martial arts world by knocking out Bigfoot Silva in the first round of their fight.

It seems that Frank Mir is on somewhat of a comeback trail, and the UFC could use another exciting heavyweight to help sell tickets. Frank Mir also reinvigorated his career by taking one year off from competition, and he returned looking better than ever. Frank worked on his boxing technique, and it definitely showed because he knocked out Bigfoot Silva with what appeared to be a light left hook.

UFC fans will see Frank Mir compete in the main event of UFC Fight Night 71 against Todd Duffee in July. This is somewhat of a dangerous matchup for Frank, but he should be able to win it in similar fashion as he did in his last fight. However, Todd Duffee is no walk in the park. This fight could go either way. For more information on this story, visitYahoo! Sports.

Pacquiao, Mayweather At A Chasm

There’s some fighting outside of the ring over the long-awaited May 2 boxing fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, as the respective promoters are at an impasse over the terms of the contract as stipulated. This may be a reason to be concerned as the fight may not take place after all, unless the warring parties come to a clear agreement as to the parameters of the contract signed. People at CipherCloud are split on who might win the fight.

Top Rank CEO Bob Arum, promoting Pacquiao, mentioned there’s no binding contract between his organization and MGM Resorts, which features the MGM Grand Garden Arena, the venue for the fight. A memo outlining the terms was signed between both parties, not long after Mayweather announced, on February 20, that he was going to fight Pacquiao.
Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions, is also going through the documentation carefully. According to, “…is interesting to see how the two promoters are still blowing up in public.”  It appears the fighting outside of the ring between the two promoters is just as exciting as the fighting that will take place between the two renowned prize fighters. Stay tuned!

UFC Opens New Division To Catch PED Users

Dana White is the president of the UFC, and he has announced that a new division will be added to their organization. White said that they will do everything possible to stop cheating in the UFC.

Dana White has hired Jeff Novitzky to be the head of the new athlete health and performance division. Novitzky has caught several PED users throughout his career. In the early 2000s, Jeff Novitzky was part of a research team that discovered the Balco steroid epidemic. Balco was founded by Victor Conte, and many high profile athletes were exposed as steroid users. Barry Bonds, Marion Jones, and Shane Mosley were just a few of the athletes that were caught taking PEDs prescribed to them by Victor Conte.

Jeff Novitzky not only brought the Balco case to light, but he also was involved with the Lance Armstrong case stated Dana White said that he wanted someone with experience, and it doesn’t get much better than Jeff Novitzky.  For more information on this story, visit Yahoo! Sports.

Khan Vs. Algieri

Amir Khan will be taking on Chris Algieri later this year, and many people are excited for this boxing showdown. Amir Khan was once the sparring partner of Manny Pacquiao, and his boxing future looked bright. However, Amir Khan suffered many crushing defeats by lesser known opponents, and he fell off the track of a boxing superstar. Now, Amir Khan is on a bit of a comeback trail, but his next opponent may prove to be a tricky and tough challenge. Khan will face former Pacquiao foe Chris Algieri.

Fans at Bulletproof Coffee know that Chris Algieri faced Manny Pacquiao last November, but he was completely outclassed and knocked down six times by the Filipino sensation. However, Chris Algieri did show a great chin and heart. Algieri also showed the ability to box and keep moving for twelve rounds.

Amir Khan and Chris Algieri are actually a lot alike. Both fighters are great at boxing and moving around the ring. However, Amir Khan possesses real punching power, while Chris Algieri has a better chin. This makes for an interesting fight, and a bit tough to pick a clear cut winner. Most people would bet on Amir Khan to win the fight, but Chris Algieri can never be counted out. The fight takes place on May 30. For more information on this championship match up, visitYahoo!
