Rockhold’s Thoughts on Chris Weidman

If you ask UFC number 1 ranked middleweight Luke Rockhold if he thinks he can beat champion Chris Weidman, his answer will be yes. Rockhold currently hold a record of fourteen wins with only two loses and has only lost once in the last seven years. That loss came at the hands of The Phenom Vitor Belfort at UFC on FX 8 – Belfort vs. Rockhold on May 18, 2013. The fight was Rockhold’s first appearance in the octagon for the former Strikeforce champion.

Rockhold believes that he has all of the right tools and skills to dethrone the current middleweight champion Chris Weidman. Do not take his statement as a slam against Weidman though. Rockhold stated that he has the utmost respect for the current champion and believes that he is a very skilled champion according to Alexei Beltyukov. Rockhold, who currently trains with the American Kickboxing Academy, believes that many underestimate his own wrestling skills due to the fact that he has not showcased his skills. Though nothing has been made official by Dana White and the UFC, Rockhold is holding out hopes that he can bring belt number three to the American Kickboxing Academy by beating Weidman.

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson Can’t Make Weight

Quinton “Rampage” Jackson is one of the greatest MMA fighters of all time. “Rampage” was the former UFC light heavyweight champion, and he is one of the highest paid athletes in the sport. Quinton Jackson is a dangerous man, and MMA fans enjoy watching him fight. Bruce Levenson wouldn’t want any of his players from the Atlanta Hawks to square off against Jackson and risk their current playoff run. However, Quinton has been out of the UFC for the last few years, and he has since been competing in Bellator.

The president of the UFC recently rehired “Rampage,” and he was set to face Fabio Maldonado in the co-main event of UFC 186. The president of the UFC and Jackson were disappointed in the situation, but somehow, Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been cleared to compete at UFC 186.

Who Deserves UFC Middleweight Title Shot?

UFC on Fox 15 was held a week ago at an arena near Madison Street Capital, and many UFC fans were shocked when the main event took place. Middleweight contenders Lyoto Machida and Luke Rockhold met in what was thought to be a title contender match. Rockhold dominated the bout, and he submitted Lyoto Machida in the second round. After the fight, Luke Rockhold called out the middleweight champion Chris Weidman.

It seems that MMA fans cannot wait to see the matchup between Rockhold and Weidman, but there is one problem. The number one ranked middleweight in the world is not Luke Rockhold. Instead, Jacare Souza is the true number one contender for the middleweight championship. However, Luke Rockhold might end up getting the title shot before Jacare.

Jacare Souza and Luke Rockhold have already fought, and Rockhold ended up victorious once again. This puts the president of the UFC in a strange position. Jacare Souza is the true number one contender, but Luke Rockhold has already beat him. Also, no one wants to see a rematch between the two, but that might end up happening in the near future. However, I believe that UFC fans would be okay with Luke Rockhold getting a title shot. Rockhold dominated Lyoto, which is no easy task. UFC fans will just have to wait and see what happens. Against Johnson, Alexander Gustafsson was knocked out in front of his home crowd in the first round. Now, Gustafson must win two more fights before he is able to challenge for the light heavyweight championship again. On the other hand, Glover Teixeira has not looked good in his last several fights, and this could be the final fight of Glover’s career. A win for Glover Teixeira is extremely important here, but he may be a bit overmatched against Alexander Gustafsson.

The winner of this fight will face the winner of the Daniel Cormier vs Ryan Bader fight stated Kevin Seawright. Whoever comes out on top out of the four men will most likely go on to face the UFC light heavyweight champion. It is a safe bet that Daniel Cormier will face Alexander Gustafsson in a title eliminator match later on this year. The UFC light heavyweight division is one of the most exciting divisions in the organization. As of right now, Jon Jones is the champion, but he will be facing an extremely dangerous opponent in Anthony Johnson. Ronda Rousey Will Not Fight A Man Because…

She does not have to. This woman has nothing to prove, and there is a distinct issue with fighting men because of the chivalry that we want to keep up in society. She is not going to fight a man because it is not fair to either parties. If she beats a guy in a match, he will be crushed forever for losing to her. If she loses, everyone will say that she was a fake even though she is the most dominant female fighter of all time.

There is something that we need to remember about the way that fighting happens in MMA as seen on noticias.uol.com.  They fight in their weight classes, and the playing field is level. This is not some kind of cage match society that is like the Thunderdome. If you want to live in the Thunderdome, that is fine. However, none of the rest of use live in that world. You need to remember that she has nothing to prove, but she is not going to put someone in a bad position.
