Dallas-based criminal justice technology provider Securus unveils its big data analytical tool. It is touted by PR Newswire as the best and “most advanced” on the market. This is a much-needed change to the technology, and it will provide significant improvement to the tools used at correctional facilities.
Several tweaks were made to the Investigative Solutions product. Even with the upgrades, the power analysis is still the same and system performance has increased. “The interface has been streamlined according to specifications. Unnecessary system functions that previously slowed the system down are now a thing of the past,” said Securus Business Manager Kelly Solid on a Youtube video interview.
The 3.1 Release upgrades the previous Silverlight software platform to HTML 5. It also makes direct integration easier. The interface is much easier to use and provides investigators the means of finding information at a faster pace.
The THREADS feature has also received an upgrade. The ability to listen to calls is a new feature. Although the THREADS feature was always considered the top-of-the-line investigative tool feature, THREADS 3.1 is more advanced.
Securus Technologies has contracts with nearly 4,000 public safety and correctionals facilities in the U.S. The company offers a wide variety of law enforcement tools to maintain the safety and privacy of both staff and inmates.
